Rilsan® Clear Benefits: Easy Processing

Rilsan^® Clear G350 and G830 are easily injection molded to open new design possibilities and offer substantial productivity gains. It offers a reduced cycle times, fewer rejects, and rapid tool set-up.

Improved flow during packing stage: Yields fewer voids/bubbles; Improved productivity by reducing cycle times by up to 20%.

Thermal stability:  Rilsan^® Clear G350 has been left in an injection press at 290° C for over 2 hrs with no oxidative effects.

Handling and processing conditions:  Rilsan® Clear granules are delivered already dried and ready for processing in hermetically sealed in 25kgs bags. However, in case of overexposure to ambient air it is necessary to dry the product (80 °C in a vacuum oven for 4h to 1 night is preferred or dessicant air dryer at 80°C maximum for 4 to 6h is sufficient).

 

Designed for injection molding, Rilsan® Clear G350 and G830 have ideal melt flow characteristics for easy processing. The following processing parameters are generally recommended:
