Our Business Unit holds forefront commercial positions based on strong brands, widely respected products and assertive R&D.

We have operations in Marseille, Mont, Pierre Bénite and Serquigny in France, Bonn in Germany, Calvert City, Birdsboro and King of Prussia in the United States, as well as in Japan and China.

We manufacture and market a wide range of products used in many applications:
 

• Polyamides

Rilsan ® Polyamide 11 and Rilsamid® Polyamide 12  for fuel lines, coiled air hoses for trucks, electrical components, etc.
Platamid®  Heatseal Copolyamides for bonding of fabrics in the textile industry (garments and automobile interior fittings)
Orgalloy®  Thermoplastic Alloys for bodywork and under-hood parts for cars, agricultural fumigation film, etc.
Rilsan® Clear and Cristamid®   Semi-Aromatic Polyamides for eyeglass frames, medical equipment (valves, fittings), etc.

• Fluoropolymers
  

Kynar® Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)   for coatings for chemical engineering equipment, electrical cables, high-protection coatings for metal surfaces, etc.
Voltalef® Polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE),  a material designed for the refrigeration industry (chemical engineering, cryogenics, medical and laboratory equipment).

• Fine and Ultra Fine Powders 

Orgasol® Ultra Fine powders    in cosmetics formulations (powder, cream, foundation, lipstick, sunscreen), carriers for active ingredients (vitamins A and E), and additives for paints, varnishes, paper, inks and adhesives.
Rilsan® Polyamide Fine powders  for protection of automotive parts (spline shafts, brake hoses), water pipes, other (dishwasher baskets, hosiery).

• Functional Polyolefins

Evatane® Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)  for adhesives, cables, polymer modified bitumen, films and solar panel encapsulation.
Lotryl®   Ethylene Acrylate Copolymers for adhesives, cables, polymer modification, protection film, extrusion coating and sealable peelable layer.
Lotader® Ethylene Acrylate Terpolymer, used as impact modifier for polymers, coupling agent in halogen free flame retardant (HFFR) cables, adhesive for the manufacturing of compound materials and food packaging, etc.
Orevac®   used for packaging applications (co-extrusion & lamination of multilayer barrier structures, adhesion between polyolefins & barrier materials) and industrial applications (tie layers in multilayer structures, adhesion between polyolefins & polar materials such as EVOH, PA, Epoxy or Aluminium).

• Oleris™: a 100% vegetable oil origin range for perfumes to technical products

Oleris™ is a 100% biobased range of products, vegetable and renewable oil origin (castor oil), in accordance with the Green Chemistry principles.
Oleris Heptanoic Acid, with its good anticorrosion properties and unique performance level at both high and low temperature, is used primarily in lubricants, refrigerating oils etc. Oleris Heptaldehyde, Oleris Heptanol and Oleris Heptanoic acid, very pure and linear molecules, can be used as synthesis intermediates in the flavors and fragrances industry.
Oleris Undecylenic acid and Oleris Methyl Undecylenate find interesting applications, though their derivatives, in fragrance industry and also in cosmetics, as safest, ecological, most economical and highly effective natural antimicrobial and preservative agents.
Oleris Esterol A, easily biodegradable and non-toxic, with low viscosity and good oxidation resistance, is an excellent unctuous agent and finds applications as fluxing agent in metalworking fluids, concrete mould release agent, lubricant additive in cutting oils etc.
